Okay, I keep getting these messages when I try to log on..

Your account won't be available till (blah blah SL time) and then I wait till that time is elapsed and I get a new message saying my account won't be available until a little later. I've been pretty patient with it, thinking it was sorting itself out after I crashed the last session I was on.. but now I'm getting frustrated.

Does anyone know why this is happening? Or how to fix it? Is it something fixable or something that's going to test my patience even more than the frozen login screen that never gets me anywhere without going 'Despite our best efforts...'

Any advice or anyone else experiencing this problem would be most welcomed.

I've been getting those messages too now for the last hour i think.
Nothing you can do about it. I'm afraid we just have to be patient.

Patience finally paid off.. after repeatedly trying I managed to login! If anyone else has this problem, don't give up.. you will get on eventually.. it seems good things DO come to those who wait.

I've discovered the cause! Even after you close SL, it keeps running for a long time in the background doing God-knows-what. If you are on PC, go to the task manager and kill the process.

I had this problem for three days last week.

It seemed to coincide with the viewer crashing and then when trying to log back in I would get that message - sometimes up to 2-3 hours.

Not sure if it was a coincidence, but one thing that seemed to fix it and let me in was to get someone already "in world" to send me an IM - it replied back to them that I was offline, but I was able to then log straight in...

As I say, not sure if it was a coincidence, but it's worth a try...
