Hello Everyone,
Is anyone else having problems with their group notices not going out to their members???
We have been having issues with ours for over a week now. I contacted Live Help, tried a few things with them online... nothing worked. She stated to me over and over again that it is indeed an SL issue and asked me to file a bug report, which I did. She stated the groups start seeing issues with notices not going out when the group total surpasses 250 members.
I'm curious to know if others are having issues... if you have any possible solutions or suggestions. This failure is impacting business badly.
Lastly, if you have suffered from this as well, have you filed a bug report? Who knows if it will help but the more people that do, at least the more we can bother Linden... lol.

My understanding is that this has been an on/off problem for months. People in some of the groups I belong to have been using the "vote proposal" thing as a work around.

Yes!!! It`s very frustrating especially when you are trying to attach items/notecards etc to the notice.
Your only choice i think is to use proposal feature which is nowhere as good as notices.
Sigh.
I heard it happens to groups with a large member base but that cant always be true because i just joined a group with almost 700 members and i have already received about 10 notices from this group.
But the notices were being sent out by fellow group members, so maybe its a problem with the owner sending out notices?
Try joining an alt as basic member if you have one, and seeing if it lets you send a notice that way?

I have been having no problem getting notices from my favorite club's group. There are many of them usually when I log on. Maybe there is a difference in using the regular viewer vs. the First Look viewer; I'm not sure. I know you can disable them by group. Are some people just disabling them and don't realize they have done so? Is no one getting notices from your group?

We're facing this issue on the fashcon group for a long time. The group owner got a workaround: removing all attachments, including huds, teleporting to Io and trying to send the notice there USUALLY works. So if you happen to be around Io and see a bald girl standing there, you may be sure she's a designer from fashcon  . Just don't ask me why Io, I have no clue  . |

We actually have confirmed with at least a dozen members that they are not receiving the notices... both older and newer members. So we are pretty confident that no one is getting them. Very frustrating, to say the least! Thank you to those of you who have responded... looking forward to any more ideas and opinions! Laura |

Maybe have everyone leave and then rejoin the group. You can temporarily add me to the group and we can test it.

The other day when WarpPos broke, i sent out group notices to the others in the Serenity Woods staff about it. When i clicked the submit button i noticed i did not see the notice dialog drop down after. So I'm not sure anyone really saw it. However when i checked the notices in the group window it was there.
