I have been in game for over 2 years and still get surprised by how rude and thoughtless some ppl are. I know this isn't just newbies but the majority of them are...or they are recreates pretending to be newbies. These are the things I think newbies should be taught.
I am talking about ppl that cage you and say hey I was just joking.
Drop prims all over your property and not think a big deal.
Sell freebies and even try to sell in front of your mall and when you return get upset with you.
Run around naked and ram into you using very poor come on lines.
This is just a few of the things that I wish newbies would learn. I am not saying all newbies are like this. I am very newbie friendly and try to help them when ever possible but recently I have been seeing more and more of this bad behavior.

The problem isn't that they don't know these things are bad, it's that they don't care because they have no stake in SL society.
I think there is some discussion at the moment about what should be done on OI and as far as I'm concerned the answer is that OI should leave newbies leaving with the desire to do something particular in SL.

Have to agree Sexy this is something that after this long they could have addressed. Something like - "Basic SL Manners"
If everyone else in an area is wearing clothes, its probably a good idea for you to.
Please show decorum reguarding any personal advances.
Do not spam in Chat or IMs
Turn your capslock off.
If you dont own the land your standing on, ask the land owner before building.
Dont shoot people in non-combat zones.
Dont leave your vehicle parked anywhere you dont rent or own.

Unfotunately, I don't get the feeling that these kinda of people really care about manners. They'd just grief the class.
