I used the Return Items to Owner option in the Land Management Tab to clear my land of all the items and return them to my inventory at once. Now I'm missing hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of items. I've used search in both inventory and recent items, I've manually gone through every folder in my inventory, I've cleared my cache and relogged. These items have simply disappeared, as if they were deleted, but there was no prompt to delete them. Does anyone have any ideas on how to recover all these items?

The name won't necessarily correspond to anything recognizeable. _____________________

you can ask for a rollback of the sim, if you are lucky the lindens may help you.
no copy items and set to group items are deleted on return to owner I believe, look in the knowledge base for the rules on that. |

That makes no sense, since the individual Return option returns no-copy items to inventory instead of deleting them. |

If the items aren't in coalesced object in the Lost&Found folder, even after clearing cache, relogging, and letting Inventory load in some empty sim which the viewer is running on a rock-solid network connection, then probably a support ticket is the only hope. |

I imagine this may be referring to what happens to items deeded to group that were set no-transfer to next owner. In those cases, there really is nowhere to which they can be returned. (Note that this is about group *deeded* items, not items just *set* to group.) If the items aren't in coalesced object in the Lost&Found folder, even after clearing cache, relogging, and letting Inventory load in some empty sim which the viewer is running on a rock-solid network connection, then probably a support ticket is the only hope. Ok, thanks. I'm not exactly sure what a "coalesced object" is, but I did submit a ticket, and these are all items that have never been transfered to someone else or shared among a group. They're simply mine. |

Sorry, I should have taken my own advise and read up before replying, Yes you are right, deeded is what I should have said ![]() |

I think a solution is possible here. I've located one which looks extremely suspicious, and then a few others. I'm currently at Fermi's trying to do something with it (since it wouldn't let me place it on my own land), but I can't seem to do anything with it, including dropping it.

No transfer items can be lost and if it contains Linden plants or trees, that can be trouble too as you have to set a group permission to allow rezzing them.

There is a problem with coalesced onjects over a certain number, and especially of there are more than 100 scripts in them. that is something that support can do something about though. |

Good, I hope this is the case. And since I have a suspicious coalesced object in my Lost and Found that I can't open... I'll try what you suggest. Thanks. |

Lesson learned.... NEVER use "Return Objects" button, unless you want to piss someone off...
![]() Is it too hard to right-click and "Take"? I see this situation happen at least once a week. _____________________

When we're talking about 200+ items, some of which have the tiniest parts... It's a lot of work, yeah. But yes, lesson learned. |

I feel your pain... but now you know the consequences of pushing that button. Someone has to put this up as a sticky there on top with a BIG warning sign.

Chances are that what you returned was a bazillion prim that you now don't have the room to rerez. You need somewhere with enough prim available to rez your items! Any idea how many prim you returned? Also, if you returned an entire sim, and the items were spread out, you will need that much space as well! The items will rerez in the same position from which you took them.
