What is meant by "Selected / Sat Upon" in the about land window?

Today I was building my furniture and hit a snag, I had run out of prims, which I found quite odd as I had deleted many items the day before freeing up over 100prims.

Now when I look at the object tab under About Land it is reporting that the owner owns 24 prims, group owns 657 and 0 owned by others which sounds about right, but then the selected / sat upon says 157?

Can anyone explain what is meant by "selected /sat upon"? and is it possible to free up these prims?

Cheers.

means that some 1 is sitting or standing on those prims

as this is not the case prolly, i`d like to welcome u into the wonderfull world of ghost prims

u`ll have to make a support ticket saying ur being haunted, the sim and the location so they can see for themselfs

either they hardwire the server to remove them or a simple sim restart is the only fix

It means pretty much what it says; think of it as a count of how many rezzed (but not attached) prims are being actively used.

For instance, if you're sitting on 19-prim chair, while editing a linked set of 125 prims, while your friend is sitting on a single cube, your "selected/sat upon" total will be 145. These prims are being used by you and your friend.

If you get up off that 19 prim chair, stop editing that linked set of 125 prims, and your friend deletes his cube, your "selected/sat upon" total will drop to zero (and your prim count will go up by one...since he deleted his cube, but your 19-prim chair and your 125-prim object you were working on is still on your land).

Hope that helps.

Oh, don't think this is the case currently, I guess thats what is meant to happen. But no one is sitting on an item, only me standing on the land with nothing selected.

Anyhow, i'm going to submit a ticket see if i can get someone to sort it, or explain what the crack is with it.

Cheers :)
