I see a pattern here.....

Okay... Am I the only one seeing a pattern lately in neglect for LL's customers?:
1) Constant frig ups
2) every time they post something on their blog lately.... Comments are CLOSED!
3) NOT responding or even hearing most of what we have to say

*looks up at the above lines* hmmm.... I see a pattern.... :/ Read one comment (who's writer will remain unnamed) out of irritation of LL saying: "SL's run by monkeys.. Every time something goes wrong they just throw shit at the server"... Hm... Point well taken... My point: IF any Lindens are reading this... SLOOOOOW DOOOOOWN... You keep adding more bugs before you fix the ones there are. You need to breathe deep *breathes deeply* and take your time. Don't rush it... because obviously... That makes alot of bugs. Not saying this out of hate, just trying to make a point.

If I had a dime for everytime someone had made this kind of thread, I'd be pretty well off lol.

I thought this was noticing the fact that the last week has been absolutely dreadful, corresponding almost perfectly with the introduction of voice to the full grid.

Probably because every time something like this happens, they know exactly what everyone will complain about, from it being the fault of "millions of unverified accounts" to "ageplaying lesbo Gorean accountants in red shoes". Frankly, if I knew just what comments would pop up as well, I'd not bother opening comments either. Or I wold, but first I'd just copy the 200 comments from the last grid instability into there so the comments were full and couldn't be added to anyways.

Lately? You're kidding right? This is nothing new, this is everyday life in this place. And this has been going on forever so you shouldn't be surprised as most here are not.

The blog is a useless piece of crap anyway. Only allows for one-way communication *looks at LL sticking their fingers in their ears and pretending not to read that AGAIN*.

Linden Answers on the forums was a good concept. It got out of control and turned into a bitch session. I blame that on the lack of proper moderation there. Rant on the Linden Answers and be banned from the forum. Simple solution.

We really need a two-way communication system back in place. Of course, that system will only work even then if LL actually TALKS with us.

I really miss the days when Lindens would chat and IM and post on forums and generally communicate between LL and the community. Where we actually worked together. We found bugs and quirks and did our best to provide reproductions and suggestions. LL read that and then did their best to fix them all, or explained why they couldnt. I have dozens of e-mails from Lindens, and not this canned form-letter response crap we get these days.

LL blames scaling and I call bullshit. It's not a scaling issue. It's pisspoor management. The "Tao of Linden" needs to go where it belongs *holds out trash can*, and LL managment needs to step up and be big boys and girls now and actually start running the company.

Many say about how those of us who voice on the forum are just a small % of the Community, and they are right. However, a LARGE % of those here voice out about the problems. A HUGE % of Residents in SL do not even KNOW we have a forum. Why? Lack of communication, or communication in a lackluster form (ie the Blog).

It's come down to where I still love SL, but I'm disallusioned with LL. There are a few bright spots there. The Lindens that do go the extra mile to help. Frontier, Lotte, Spike....*stops and realises how many Lindens DO help as they can* Really, there are dozens and dozens of Lindens that WANT to help.

Perhaps what LL needs is communication within LL themselves.

At least Linden Labs is being honest about it. Instead of allowing comments, thereby leading you to believe that someone at Linden Labs actually reads the comments, they are being straightforward and saving you the time you would waste writing a comment that no one would read.
