Just to get you started:

Relog.

Clear cache and relog.

Clear cache and relog, clear cache and relog, clear cache and relog. (Sometimes multiple times does the trick.)

Reinstall the software.

Clear cache and relog.

Reinstall the previous version of the software.

Clear cache and relog.

Do a full clean reinstall, meaning you delete the SL application support folder where the cache and settings info is kept. If you log your chats and want to keep those, copy them to another folder for your records.

Try logging on again tomorrow.

Inventory and money still gone?

One last thing, since you say your money is gone. Check your account on the web site and see what your balance is.

If it is REALLY zero, then your account may have been hacked. Check your transaction logs (on the web site) to see who your money was sent to.

Clearing cache and relogging doesn't actually do much good if the problem is with the sim (money, asset and inventory operations go through the sim you're on, so if the sim is having problems, you won't get your inventory either).

Preferences, General and check "Show Start Location" and typing in a water-only sim (Hahne is a good one, Kara is one as well I think - both SF hosted sims so no Texas issues either) before pressing connect can make a world of difference .

i am not hacked, when i log in the i ahve it .,... i log in newly i dont have it .... thats a really prob by programming by this lindens...

they should stop to punish us with their foolish updates .. they dont have the knowledge for this

Usually when and update falls in the toilet, many, many, many people express having the problem. Esspecially on a Friday night.

I suggest you do as Ava suggested and clear cashe and relog, or try a differnt sim as Kitty said.

That no one else has the problems points to your problem being on your side with the client viewer. (Corrupted Download perhaps?)

Also, you may wish to file a Support Ticket.

Trust me, this is an issue that they are 'attempting' to fix along with the missing from database (YES I am still upset about this one as I have lost at least 100k in clothing...and yes I know I shopped too much but that was also a full resale business that is just GONE to SL hell and wont ever come back). With each update more stuff gets lost...I bet at least 50% of the people in game have lost things and just dont know it yet. Its a sad sad world when your virtual junk wanders off the database. BTW, this sorta thing started bad for those I know about 6 weeks ago, might be a bit longer...I STILL miss shopping and my stuff!!! At least in SL I can be a packrat without cluttering up my home. Wait...dont visit my home in game.

GL and let us know if you ever get anything back.


Edit to add...Jessy, this isnt the only person with the issue. There are random, and often ignored, threads and mentions of people missing items all over this forum and people *are* losing things in game, left and right. Its been happening for a while, but after a time of complaining and begging LL to fix it, people have grown quiet and attempting to live on even as more stuff dissapears.

I know of at least 2 other people that logged in with *nothing*. Just...oy.

Couple of questions...1) will this actually bring things back that are listed as missing from database (similar to the OPs issue, not exact I know) and 2) where can you get those downloads for the older clients & are they usable? The last update was a *required* update that I was forced to run in order to load SL. Thanks in advance to anyone with answers!

Is 1.17.3 required now? Until late last night, I was still running 1.17.0, and .1, .2, and .3 were all still optional. I only started using .3 because I was tired of constantly clicking the "No I don't want the F-in optional update!" button.

TBH, I was told to make sure I update it in order to *fix* the issue I had...so the required update may have been a step higher than you were at...not sure. I would give my AVs right arm to get a fix to the issue though!

The next required update will be 1.18. Until then, enjoy the 1.17 client of your choosing.
