I've tried posting a couple of Events from the SL website today. Does it take some time for them to show up? There was nothing NC-17 in either of them. They are not showing up in the in-world events search, either.

It's not just you. I've had it take as long as 24 hours for an event to show up on the webpage and inworld. My advice is to post events at least 72 hours in advance, if you can. (I post between 5 days and 2 weeks in advance--it helps.)
