Help! Avie has Jitters!

I have been fighting this problem for some time and I am stumped! My avie kind of jitters when she should be standing still. Sometimes she will take a few steps in place then stop, then do it again. She just can't stay still. I've been at this awhile, so I have tried many different locations in SL. I have tried detaching all prims. I have tried stop animations. I have been told that it was my wireless router, so I went back to a CAT5 cable to the router and it didn't help.

I am looking for suggestions and help. I hope somebody out there has seen this happen and found a solution.

I recently upgraded to a nice nVidia card and am living with the copyright issue. I went to LL tech support with it and was told it was a known issue and I would just have to wait for a fix. This is why I am not going to them with this issue and turning to my fellow SLers for help.

So, please, any help would be much appreciated!

if this is what I think it is, it can be caused by some scripted attachments. I have a clue as to what might cause it, but I don't have a definite answer.

My keyboard does it.
My multi tool does it.
Some AO's do it.

I suspect it has to do with a repeating timer, and llGetAgentInfo. The hop is more pronounced if your avatar is shorter. Try removing your shoes to see if it gets worse.

I'll try the shoe thing. It happens with or without an AO running. Thanks for the info.

My av gets jitters if I'm standing with my back too close to a large-ish prim. I don't have any AO's or scripted attachments so I reckon it's a camera thing.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

can be mixed default animations of SL, i had it also (did as test), and was hard to get off, had to make a cript to get rid of it.
You can see what anim. you got, in advanced tab; i'm not login at the moment, but i'm sure you can find and select.
the animation apear then as a white text about the avi head and will follow whatever the avi does.

Are you wearing a collar? I walk like I need an enema when going over ground/prim height changes - most annoying!

Jack,

Would there be any way you could help me out, maybe with the script you mentioned? I have taken a look at animations and when I start jumping the number of animations running goes way up. I can't come up with a way to stop it. I turned off all my AOs and I still get the same thing with the default SL animations.

When you say "turned off" do you mean you've actually detached the object that runs the animations, rather than just clicking the "AO Off" button on the HUD?
