New Land that was for sale

This morning I logged in, and did what I normally do, started searching for first land availability. I saw 10x 512m2 plots for sale, listed as first land, in about 5 or 6 different regions. I could not teleport to any of them.. they all said invalid location when trying to teleport. On the map, when I clicked show on map in the search window, they came up "Invalid Location" with a blue circle. I kept trying to telelport / find these plots and the same thing happened for about 45 minutes.

The next thing I tried was teleporting to another region, just to make sure it wasn't the region I was in preventing me from teleporting and I got out fine. When I arrived at my new location, I did another search... the first land plots didn't show up this time. And I still could not get the regions they were in to show up via a search using the map. So I teleported back to my HOME spot where I originally started all this. And the first land plots showed up again, but I still could not teleport to them.

Eventually, after about 30 more minutes, the list went blank. I never ever saw the regions except as "Invalid Locations" and an hour later, I still see the regions listed as "Invalid Locations" doing a map search. The first land that I saw for sale still isn't in the list.

Can someone explain what was happening? Two of the region names I saw First Land for sale in were Appalachia, and Coda.

I can't tell you exactly what was happening, but it appears to be a LL glitch. The same thing was happening once when I was looking for first land but I only had to struggle for five minutes or so before I messaged live help. I was told it was a mistake and that real First Land would be posted soon. In a few minutes the whole list changed and I was able to get my little plot. It did make for some frustration.

EDIT: Those region names ring a bell, too. I think they were the same phantom ones I was struggling with. They showed up as being to the east but impossible to get to.

EDIT AGAIN: And what REALLY bugged me was that they had pictures and they looked pretty nice!!

Its possible that LL is getting ready to put some new land in to the world and the preparations are causing odd behavior. I would keep a close eye out for First Land just incase.
