Hi there!
I've changed some L$ in March 20 2007 but until now (more than 20 days have past), I didn't get any money in my Paypal account. Can anyone explain me this? Is this normal or shoul I get worried?
Thanks

20 days is way too long, phone LL or email billing@lindenlab.com

Also look in your precess credit history to see if it has some info there.

Did you only put L$ up for sale? Or did you actually request a PayPal payout as well? It's a somewhat common mistake for people to sell L$, and not realize they have to separately request a payout.

Check that your order isn't still open (you wouldn't be able to see the closed order since it happened more than 45 days ago):
https://secondlife.com/currency/history.php

If there is no open order, check your account next, the US$ balance (if there is a positive US$ balance, click "Process Credit" to request a pay-out):
https://secure-web11.secondlife.com/account/

If you did actually request a payout through PayPal, then you'll need check with billing@secondlife.com to see what happened.

All I,ve got is this:
Order Id Order Type Quantity Ordered Quantity Filled Limit Rate Time Opened Time Closed Closure Method Gross US$ Net US$

2345351 Market Sell L$2,400 L$2,400 – 2007-04-20 19:23:37 2007-04-20 19:23:37 fill US$8.70 US$8.39

but there's nothing in my paypal acc. I want now to sell a larger sum, but I don't know what to do. Losing $8 is bad, losing $100 is worse

The money was sold on the same day. It would now be sitting in your US$ balance. It doesn't automatically get sent to your PayPal account, that is a different process. Go to your account summary on the websire and next to your US$ balance is a process credit link and you can go from there. If you have another US$100 to sell its in your best interest to sell that L$ and only do one cashout as you get changed US$1 for every PayPal transfer.

You didn't say whether you actually asked for the credit to be processed, or whether you just did a sale. The proceeds from L$ sales don't go to your PayPal unless you specficially request it after the sale:

Right well i cashed in some L$ which then went to my us$ then i processed the credit and after a week it said denied so if you wanna buy lindens great if you want somthing back out of it then dont expect anything sell em in world thats what i did.
Also the UK number for contact is no good but luckily i obtained the proper number for the UK from the bank so if like me you contact billing via email a number of times and never recieve a reply, then pm me and ill give you the number for them.
Hope this has helped oh just one more thing i also tried to downgrade my account but it didnt want to know until i had given them more cash.
Linden lab are fantastic at showing the world how great sl is but the customer service sucks.

The UK number works fine for me. Did you dial both the zeroes at the start of the number? (note that it's an 00800 prefix, not an 0800 prefix)

Were you using a mobile, or some other service that blocks international toll-free numbers?

That's what I'm telling! No such link (process credit link) in my acc summary!

I did just what I did other times when I sold L$. This time however, I don't see the real $ in my account (LS acc, or Paypal acc).

Perhaps the money was used to cover tier or premium account fees, what does your account history show?

A positive US$ amount will always be used to cover fees before it is billed to your payment method.

I think all you did was sell your lindens.

You now need to transfer them into your paypal account, then you should receive it in 5 days.

1. Click on "my account"
2. Click the "process credit" button next to the "US Dollar balance"
3. Click "paypal" option

And fill in the info it asks you from there.

If you believe you did transfer the lindens already, then go here:

1. Click on "my account"
2. Click on "Process credit history" (right hand side of screen, "LINDEN DOLLAR" section)
3. What`s there? do you see your paypal transaction request? What`s the status?

been there done that. I have nothing in "Process credit history", just an older transaction fron March which went fine.
The other one (Order Id Order Type Quantity Ordered Quantity Filled Limit Rate Time Opened Time Closed Closure Method Gross US$ Net US$
2345351 Market Sell L$2,400 L$2,400 – 2007-04-20 19:23:37 2007-04-20 19:23:37 fill US$8.70 US$8.39) is missing.
I've sent them an email, but nothing has happened.
This starts to look like a ripoff...

You haven't looked in the right spot.

1. You sell your L$.
2. The procedds go to your US$ account.
3. You precess the credit to either your PayPal account, or to a cheque.

You are in between 2 and 3 I figure.

You have to look in your 'Account History' not your 'Process Credit History', as you haven't processed your credit!

Your 'Account History' is the very top link on the right side when you are in the 'My Account' page (very top, right hand link on the webiste when you are logged in).

'Account History' is your US$ history. You definately got US$ from the sale of your L$ as shown by your previos post. This will tell you where the US$ went. I suspect to tier or account fees, since it was such a small amount, a sinlge month's premium fees would have wiped it out.

LL does not rip people off on LindeX, the money went somewhere and this page will tell you where.
