Hi there,

I own an island in SL, and have assigned a group to my island.

I am having troubles with permissions right now, and hope you can help me.

Basically, I only want to permit certain members of my group the ability to create items on certain land parcels, and deny others from creating objects there.

I have created a special role, and have selected "always allow create"
yet on my land - everyone still has the ability to create.

can you help me out?

Cheers! and happy new years!

Hi Fire

You need to set these permissions with the land permissions.

Make sure you not only have allow others to create unticked, but also have allow group to creat unticked.

All the best

Just a note: if no build is on, even those with group rights to build will have the build button disabled. But they can create objects by a right click and selecting "Create". This has been reported.
