I live on a PG Sim. I am hearing rumors about what will and will not be allowed in my own home in the sky on this PG Sim. Ok.. well, an animations store that is very well known and that sells many..NOT PG animations set up shop on the same Sim as I. Anyone have any guesses to wether or not they will be able to continue to sell thier stuff once the age verification sets in?

I don't mind the place being there, Hell, I shop there A LOT LOL.. just confused as to what the heck is and isn't permitted on PG Sims. *shrugs*

From the Knowledgebase Article: http://secondlife.com/knowledgebase/article.php?id=312

So how do I know where to draw the line?

PG regions have frequently been described as an area where you’re free to say and do things that you would feel comfortable doing in front of your grandmother, or a grade school class.

I'm guessing people wouldn't be comfortable doing the kinds of things you're referencing in front of their grandmother!

I would hazard a guess that there's going to be more of a crackdown coming when age verification is in place. They're sanitizing the grid, it seems, and it's quite possible the prices on PG land could drop if people start running for the hills and relocating all of their questionable content businesses.

Edit: As for your home in the sky, you'll probably still be safe doing whatever you want up there, as long as you restrict access to a close knit group so people don't wander in on you. Probably a good idea to put in a security orb.

Thanks for the link...from what I see there, the animation place may be forced to move, which would be a shame IMO. I on the other hand, am 500m in the air, and well..I am discreet. Time will tell what will happen I guess. Thanks again for the fast reply !! *waves & grabs her bubblewrap and popcorn*

MMM popcorn!!

I think I'm becoming the queen of PG or something. Maybe it's just lucky timing, or maybe it's divine intervention.

Aw, thanks, you're swell! Now I can wander off and be happy. :)

Perhaps I should offer my services to help people determine what is PG-appropriate and what is not, for a small fee....hmmm....

I think that is a great idea...You are well informed AND you actually respond to people in thier first lifetime...you could be rolling in lindens..and bubblewrap. :D
