Groups and private island land question

I 'own' a plot in a private island sim and am wanting to allow friends in the group to make it their home tp spot, eject a few griefer's, cretin's that come in once in a while etc. Now I pretty much know how to setup the group and permissions for that but my question is this:
Being that this is the only land I own and not being premium paid member, (just registered with a credit card) I want to make sure that when I deed the land to a group that it wont be repossessed or returned to the sim owner (kind of hard to explain it since I can't get inworld right now for the exact terms) since it looks like I don't officially own land since it is a private island sim
Hope that makes some sense, if not I'll explain it better when we can all get back in after the hardware failure gets fixed (fingers crossed)

Have you spoken to the Sim owner? If I rented space to someone on my island then all of a sudden that person is replaced by a group.. I would be very concerned. Why? Because the more people involved means more chances for hooligans to mess things up.

yes I have spoken to them briefly about it and they said it was ok with them to even rent out my land and house. This is more of a question for my piece of mind so I won't wake up one day and my group owned plot is no longer mine since I seem to remember it looks like I don't really own land according to LL.
I am hoping someone here with alot more experience in this can answer this for me while I am thinking about it while SL is down for repairs and I'm reading through the forums to pass the time
Sorry I can't really explain it better than this right now without being able to get the exact terms from inworld
