Creating outfits with common "no copy" elements?

I've created a few outfits that have a few things in common, in particular, the hair. However, the hair is "no copy," so it can go in only one folder at a time. That means when I drag-and-drop another outfit folder I am bald until I reactivate the hair.

So my question is - When I have some things in common between outfits, and they are "no copy," is there any way to set it up so they don't disappear when I change?

I wonder if it would be possible to have a placeholder toupee or bracelet or something with a script that, that when worn, removes itself and has the NoCopy hair worn instead? That way the toupee could go in each folder and immediately find/wear the real hairpiece no matter how many different outfits used it.

Dont drag and drop, click the folder in your inventory, chose ADD TO OUTFIT (not REPLACE OUTFIT), and items (both clothing and attachments) that doesnt share a clothing or attachmentspot with anything in the new folder will remain on your AV. Then take of manually what you dont need, if there is something. The easiest way to do this, is to type WORN in the search in your inventory, and then click whatever you dont need.

No copy hair? I've never seen that, and I wouldn't buy it if I did. I almost always need to tweak a few prims and no copy would mean I was stuck if I goofed...seems like a horrible idea.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

not that I know of

And this emplifies the reason why I do not purchase no copy attachments.

ANY attachment should be copyable...
