Ok..is anyone else having this problem? Cuz I have ruth hair, but when I try to change hair, I get msg that I can't do that until my body has loaded. Huh?
And, yep, I look like a newbie....in body and hair. Skin is on, tho.
When I right click and try to go to Appearance, nothing happens.
Arrrghhh! I can't be seen like this! LOL!

Sounds like the system is still trying to load your correct appearance...you probably won't be able to do anything to change the way you look until it stops. Have you tried relogging?

If Calveen's suggestion doesn't work, try this: Log out, then load up SL. Go to preferences/network and press the clear cache button. Then close out. Then load up and go to preferences/general and check 'Show start location in Log in screen' and leave the preferences. Go to the pull down that now appears under the name and choose 'Type region name here' and type in Pooley. Login and see if that might help.

Thanks for the help you guys. I relogged 3 times...same problem. Cleared cache...same.
Where do I find client, Character, Rebake Textures?

To get the Client menu on PC press Ctrl + Alt + d
..Mac Shift + Ctrl + Alt + d

Thanks so much! Ok, here's what i had to do.... Went into Client/Character...and clicked Character Test/Test Female. That set me back to when I first joined! LOL! Talk about scary! Then I had to attach everything all over again. But it worked! Appearance Mode is back and so I am. Thanks you guys for helping me through this traumatic time!  |
