I just bought a Sailor Saturn outfit and I found the object in my inventory but whenever I attemp to wear it. It just shows up as the display box from in the store.
I tried right clicking when I am wearing it but the only options I have are detach, drop and edit.

Drop it on the ground. Click it. Chose open. Chose copy to inventory or copy and wear  Then you are set Good luck and welcome to SL. |

Aaleyah, you need to go to a place where build is permitted and there are enough free prims to accomodate the box. Rez it on the ground and do the "open" choice on the pie.
If for some reason that doesn't work "edit" and look into the contents. You can drag them into your inventory manually.

Welcome to Second Life - there's a lot to learn but that's part of the fun. And we can all look back on our early days and laugh - it used to be that when you "wore" something it went onto your head - you can imagine what happened then!
