I want to be able to change radio stations on my land now and then. Can anyone give me some active music urls or a notecard with music url addresses?

Thanks lots of great stations there. How do I get the url address that goes into sl? The station I was listening to in windows media player I got the url address in the properties tab and it didnt work in sl

From Shoutcast.com to get the url there are two ways to do it.
1) let Winamp Load and let teh stream play, goto the winamp menus and hit the one that lets you 'view' info about what your hearing and the URL will be in that box full of data
2) Dont open the playlist from shoutcase with winamp but instead open it with NotePad
it's just a text file and inside you can find the music URL
i wish shoutcast had a easier way to pull the url out but for now that is as easy i can figure out.

actually when Winamp starts playing the station, do a ALT-3 and at the top copy the url for the station. Then just paste it in your media section of preferences. Then close winamp.

Thanks I just sent you a notecard in world with 42 stations. I think 2 don't work sometimes otherwise all are OK. Andrew |
