OK, I know this probably isn't the best forum to post this in, but it's the only one that gets traffic, so I'm starting here.
I want to get a thread going for "Sales" on clothes, shoes, hair, jewelry, etc. Not for the sellers but from those of us that are shopping.
I find as I wander through the stores that some are overpriced and some have great bargains (my 10L and 15L hair that looks great, some nice pieces of free jewelry). I'm not talking about the freebie places, I'm interested in the retail sales stores in SL.
If there is interest here, then I'll move the thread to Shopping.

Freebies have provided most of my clothes, plus what I've made myself. I make things to sell so I'm all for a bit of shopping, as long as it's done by others!!!!

I like to look good and I like to support content creators that I admire. But I hate to shop mainly because of this scenario: Say I am looking for a specific item like well crafted men's prim hair. I look in search, classifieds, all or places. I look at the ads. I teleport. So far so good. And then I can't find said item. I wander around and wait for my not very fast graphics card to load textures. And I still can't find said item. I sigh, look at search again for the next most promising ad, teleport wait for textures to load and on and on.
