since when is talking back and forth in a help wanted thread considered reason enough to lock it?

I was bantering back and forth, no harm caused, yet the thread was locked

see it plenty of time in other places that ppl can talk back and forth

and the reason was unjustified, as the forum is not a post only, and if it were intended to be one, it would have replies turned off.

now my question is what is considered just cause to have a thread locked? (this is the first time for me)

you should probably just send the moderator a private message on the board cause well your asking residents questions on something they probably can't answer if that makes any sense.

by the way i have no idea which thread is locked your talking about either so again you might just want to ask the moderator it would be easier and faster and probably more productive ^^

Strife said it when she locked it. That forum is meant for posting help-wanted announcements. Your back and forth banter was way off topic and no longer appropriate for the forum.

hmm well explain why the thread that was right below it was not locked yet the op was bumping it with a bump in the post....

ah well forget I asked, I was mainly just seeing if I was the only one who felt it was un-necessary

I mean shoot a moderator could be dealing with far more pressing matters than a thread that is getting bumped and someone is joking back and forth in

I know now I guess
(I shall let the matter drop)
