request for a couples HUD, if one exists.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a HUD, (or whatever else) that would allow you to *ahem* enjoy your partners company anywhere at all, without the need for third party supplied pose balls.

Is there such a thing, and if so, what is the best one available?

There is such a thing. I just saw one yesterday...called an "attachment." The animations were excellent quality and the attachment was pricey. I'm at work but when I get inworld, I'll send you the link.

Bits and Bobs doesn't have that sort of thing. The attachment was something you added to any sort of wearable prim. The users click on it and a drop down menu appears and there ya go.

I've seen an "Affection" HUD that lets you do a wide range of couple's activities. And xCite makes some attachments that allow you to do specific acts without having to rez a pose ball set (though it is difficult to adjust if the pose doesn't fit quite right, as I recall). There are also bracelets that allow a couple to do specific paired animations...

Nothing I have seen will come close to just having an array of pose balls in inventory and rezzing them when you need them. Presumably if you're somewhere that it would be OK for you to have simulated sex with a friend, it should also be possible for you to rez pose balls.

Abranimations has one - hugs and stuff, though - not sex - so perhaps not what you're looking for.

There are couples anim HUDs in my store, although it sounds like you are after more risque animations than I do. Technically they are still poseballs (as Ceera points out, despite their downsides for sponeneity and use locations, poseballs are the best way to synch up multiple avatars in an animation) but the poseballs rez wherever you are standing when you click the hud.

My partner and I just picked up something called "randezvous"sp) it was 3k but its well worth it.

Also it is not a hud, you both have to sit on a ball for it to work, but once youre on it functions like a HUD and you can walk/fly anywhere on the same sim together, its not perfect, think of it as a new technology, but its extremely top class for its kind, the best in all SL i`d say. Definitely worth a check out.

I havent read the whole thing but this is where I heard of it from.

My boyfriend and I just got the Rendevouz... its excellent, we love it. We did start out with Johan's poseballs, those were quite nice for walking hand-in-hand or in an embrace at a much easier to swallow cost.

If you are looking for something more intimate, I "think" a place called Deelish-ous Designs~Orgasmic Furniture might have something that you described but it's tailored for the females. They have a line of jewelry called "Luv Me Rings" (750L) and limited ladies clothing called "Phukme Skirts" (1100L) that spawn poseballs similar to a sex bed or cuddle rug.

A menu pops up when you click on the skirt or ring. The menues suggest that the ring tends to be on the softer side with cuddles, hugs, and teasing, and the skirt has any number of sex-on-the-run type options. I don't own either of these so I can't say any more than I what I've seen in the display.

Yes, Neva Naughty is the link I sent the OP. And thank you Dementia! I've been looking for the phukme skirts recently and haven't been able to find them on a search and lost my LM!

Mr. P's has a good couples animator, Abranimations has one, and M & P has one.

Then there are the free hug/kiss attachments, which do the same thing.

The main problem you will have is finding the particular animations that you want. The ones that come with the animators I've used are tame. You can however add your own. There are some stores that sell separately animations intended for duos (i.e., each partner's animation sold separately), and these are the easiest to add to your huds. You can rip animations out of pose balls to install in your HUD- if the pose balls are modifiable.

There is a secondary problem with this HUDs, in that it's hard to line up your and your partner's animations sometimes to work with each other. That's what you get if you don't use a poseball- a poseball will anchor you in place for the animation to work property, but without poseballs, you have to manually aim.

Unless Neva Naughty has a new item that I haven't seen, its system works with poseballs- which means you can only rez them in places where you have permission to rez (and won't send your poseballs back to your inventory before you are done using them). The Neva Naughty system is great, but doesn't carry the functionality of actually using it anywhere.

I read the OP as saying you want sex animations that can be used anywhere without dropping sex balls.

These things do exist

But they work about as good as hugs and kiss animations

In other words unless you happened to be standing in a perfect spot - not very well at all.

Rendezvous pwns anything else out there.

You can WALK UP STAIRS, and when you go off a ledge youre not airwalking, it sets you back down on the ground REALISTICALLY.


hitting pg up delicately takes you both flying.

Theres all sorts of things to do. and you go into and out of each pose swiftly.
