LL doesn't care about any of us, so good luck with that. YOu might want to try picking at what they're worst at. They seem to be paying attention to me lately because I"m voicing my opinion directly to them, and finding their processes that they don't even follow.

I have the same.

2 days ago I logged in and suddenly my original expensive skinn was replaced for an ordinary skinn. The original skinn is still in my map but when i choose "wear" it says: Failed to find body part named [ND] (Hair) Eye Shadow Smokey in database while the item is visible inside my map!!!!
I send a bug report & hope they can fix it.

For a solution to inventory and object loss problems, you might wanna check this out:

The Inventory Backup Vault!
Rez a prim, right click, edit, go to contents and drag/drop from inventory, right click, take copy... done and it's free.

One single prim is also far more likely to get lost: instead of a few dozen to a few hundred items that would have to potentially get lost, all it now takes is one single inventory item to loose it all.

The worst thing that can happen: An object or a safe vanishes from our
land. We have no idea how this could happen. But if it ever did, we have
a solution, no problem at all!

Solution: You get an alert and can immediately put a new copy of your
object into the safe. For no additional cost!
There's no warning against putting no-copy items into the "safe". A rezzed prim is at a greater risk of being lost than something that just sits in inventory.
If someone puts it out, the sim crashes, rolls back, their prim will be gone and since it contained no-copy items there is nothing to put back.

missing from database
Happens when the garbage collection process hickups. It seems the Lindens frequently swoop through the assets, looking for items that are orphaned (they don't belong to anyone's inventory any longer). When they come across those, they get moved to a sort of purgatory where they're not accessible anymore (which is why you get the error), but they're still there to get restored in case it turns out not to be orphaned after all.
Apparantly just getting the error should kick off a restore process that takes about 30 minutes to an hour, if after that, the item hasn't been restored yet, then you'll need to contact them with either the Asset ID (you can do that if you have full permissions to it), or the complete tree to the items from your inventory (ie My Inventory/Animations/Poses/ item called My AO).

There is one particular Linden in charge of restoring "missing from database" inventory, but you might want to try to ask on Help Request for their name. Also, resubmit the bug report if you didn't add either the Asset Id or the location of the item(s) in your inventory because they need one of those two to restore it.

Good luck :).

I think the Linden you might need to talk to is Data Linden.
