American Express Gift card into linden?

Is there anyway i can transfer this gift card into lindens? I have tried but since it is gift card. Whos name would it be under?

In my experience, those types of cards you can use any name as the processor *usually* bypasses the name verification. But I could be completely wrong.

Unfortunately in my experience you cannot use Amex gift cards to buy linden. SL uses paypal for processing which requires the card to allow recurring billing, Amex does not allow this. You can however use the Visa and Mastercard gift cards to buy lindens, the one i currently buy at the store to use for linden says vanillavisa.com on the back of the card packaging.

I've used Amex and Visa gift cards online - just use your name (instead of the generic card name) and your address info as normal.

Ive use Visa and Mastercard gift cards before. No name on the card. Just updated it in the billing section using my name and once it updated in the system it worked fine. But keep in mind that when you enter a card on the web it tags the card with a $1.00usd pre authorization to verify the card is legit So off the bat if you have a $50 gift card you only have access to 49 until that pre autorization is automatically cancels.
