Most of the newly released mainland sims are given some arbitrary name like j00-0v6 before their actual names are given. However, with this new continent they are named Nautilus_2v4 or something, so I figure Nautilus is the "official" name of this new continent

Here's a complete map of it. I've recently polished my mapping method, so it is much faster and more precise than my last attempts:

I like how there's lots of coast and water, and mini-islands

Not too thrilled about the texture they choose for the "mountains" though. Today the sims on the Eastern third of the map were just made. I hope this continent extends much farther south and connects to the Eastern continent with ocean

Now LL just needs to make a vast, barren desert... then I will be happy

Wonderful Aminom! Thanks for this. I love the new land they are opening up but I'm with you. I live the desert in RL and would love to visit it in SL.

Maybe the next continent?

Wow, I guess with all this water front land they were hoping to reduce the price for people seeking water views....cant wait to see how far they build that one.
