I suddenly found my trade&billing limit becomes as a brand-new resident instead of level 1. What's wrong ? How should I do ? It also seems my L$ becomes less .

From what i have read on other threads the only way to get it fixed is to call them?

The same thing has happened to me and i submitted a tier review request to get it fixed but have received no reply and from what i have read in other posts, i shouldnt be expecting one.

Since your join date says April 2007, you fall under the "New Resident" category in the LindeX: Billing and Trading Limits table. It's only the 28th of April right now. Be patient and wait until after the 27th day since the first billing transaction on your account has come to pass.

When I joined at the time, I had to wait 3 months before I was set to Level 1.

These LindeX: Billing and Trading Limits are to prevent fraud from occuring.

No. My join date should be February instead of April. I'm not sure what's wrong. So rediculous!

The April "born" date shown on your forum profile is different from the born date in world and has nothing to do with your LindeX limits.

Word on the grid is that avatars who take part in gambling in world (especially Americans) have had their tier limits reduced in order to reduce LL's liability if/when it is shown that gambling in SL is in fact illegal (as most already agree it is). So, this could be a possibility. People are saying this more and more as it seems everyday more and more people's account LindeX limits are being reduced and LL still has not mentioned that there is any kind of trading limit bug. But that could be a rumor and the whole lindex problem could just be a bug, or ta least in most cases like the one you have.

Remember, when you sign up for your account you agree to LL's TOS that they can do anything with your or anyone else's account at anytime. They can, for example, turn your account off and take all of your L$ for any or NO reason what so ever. They can reduce your limits without notice; they can take your items, land, etc and don’t have to tell you anything. I'd think they would tell you "you have been gambling and we don’t like that, so we have reduced your LindeX limits" but as per their TOS, they don’t have to. They could even ban Anshe from LL and take every sim of land she owns, and there would not be one thing she could do about it.

Good luck!

I've also heard that people who purchased Lindens from non-LL approved sources have had their limits reduced...not sure if that's true though.

hmmmmm, you may find that under the terms and conditions of the "sales of goods act" as follows

"Under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and The Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 traders must sell goods that are as described and of satisfactory quality, and provide services that are to a proper standard of workmanship." - Source DTI

Therefor if if LL were to strip your account without good reason they are subject to such an act. i.e illeagal activities etc. Allthough it is a virtual item they would be acting against there OWN terms and conditions and their "statment" that all users retain leagal rights to the contect they produce essentially LL are stealing from there OWN customers.

Just my 2 cents ... or pennies *lol*
