I have a piece of land on Treasure Island and I've noticed the texture of the land changing. For instance, the beach always has some green areas, however they seem to have moved each time I come home.
I did ask one of Anshe's angels but she says it's a rezzing problem and the texture of the land should stay the same. I'm gathering information now to proof my case.
Has anyone noticed the same and is there a solution to this?

Estate owners have the ability to change the texture of their land at will. For example I am in Caledon and at the moment it’s snowing in various places across the Sims and the ground is covered in snow. Come spring it may well revert to green...
Suggest you ask the Dreamland people to review your base texture. In some cases resolution can be improved by better base texture selection and by the additional feature of downloading the Island onto an outside computer and modifying terrain and textures with Photoshop or similar.
Unlike mainland, private Estates have much more control over these things, I believe that Island land can be terraformed and textured externally down to a land resolution of 10 square meters and of course the "greater depth" of the core textures used (e.g. 128, 512 etc) can improve the visual quality of your experience.
However because any Island textures will also impact on other users of the same Island I suggest you talk to your neighbours and present the Dreamland team with a combined approach, in my own experience they are usually quite helpful and mindful of customer service. Try talking to Master Quatro he is usually quite approachable.
Regards
John

We had a Dreamland parcel that did the same thing.. we got to calling it the green mold. We never asked about it, but I can second John's recommendation of Master Quatro as a person to contact.
