I am having severe problems indexing one of my properties, some words are being indexed some are not. I have even tried just putting in that word over and over and over and it still does not index. The word is not banned as others results show up. What can I do?

Support refuses to return my phone calls, even the concerige team does not return my phonecalls.

It means your land doesnt have top traffic to make the flooded list. (Or youre on a 'faulty' parcel)

its a pretty confusing process.

If youre using the word "cow" in description and "sex" and your traffic is at 500, you will more than likely show if someone is searching 'cow' however you definitely will not show to those searching 'sex'. the list only shows 100 i believe and most everyone is throwing 'sex' in their keywords. once the list is full, only those whose traffic is good and also on, what i call, a 'lucky parcel' will show up.

You can try subdividing your parcel again and listing the new cut piece..this will help if your current parcel is out of the listing pool (which happens to random parcels)

the list only shows 100
It only shows the first 100 matches from every category, so if you don't show up in the first page of the listings in Places, then you won't show up in All.

Additonally, there is (was?) a bug with the 100th or 101st result which occassionally (or persistantly for some people) gets cut from the listings and won't show up at all on either the first page or the second page.

No that still does not seem to fit the explanation.

It is the all tab i cam concerned about, and if i search for camping i get 425 results.
One of my locations is there one of them is not... both have the name in there description.

And if you would bother to actually look you would see it's a collection of: Classifieds, Events, Land Sales, Places, People and Groups.

Search every category separate and compare to the result of All, they match. The only discrepancy is that Search / All occasionally returns slightly more than 100 results for each category.

(Actually looking at your ads, it would be best for you to read http://blog.secondlife.com/2007/04/05/advertising-policy-changes/ concerning the ban on ads for casinos  )

The banning of certain words in adds was taken care off in a major way, that way is the removal of the ability to search for the ads.

This is the new policy as they did not have the resources to police each ad.
So the nuked it at the search engine level.

Search for roulette you wont return a result, but look at 777 Casino who is in popular places and you will clearly see roulette.

Thank you for the traffic tip. That may be the issue.

Its confusing.

You really just need good traffic and it should list.

If you still do not list then youre on, what i call, a faulty parcel. (or rather an unlucky one).

The system can only list like 100 under "All" i think it is. And theres TONS trying to list. so it 'picks' certain parcels it feels like listing, and if you look, those parcels more than likely have the highest traffic count of their type. And again, if your traffic is high and you still did not list, youre unlucky. try resubdividing or getting a new plot. (Test the plot and see if it lists before you buy)

I have had a huge parcel with high traffic and it refused to list me. When i changed parcels (Same size, same traffic) I listed.
