Hey all, I keep running into a problem now that sl has expanded so much into other countries.

Doing installation help or trouble shooting is almost impossible through online translators.

Like most business or people i've found others to translate. My problem is its getting a lot more common and I hate having to post a forumn and wait hours for replies each time I need help.

A solution that i’ve thought of (and you all can tell me if you like the idea or not) is to start a group in SL for translators and people that need them. Basically if I have a customer that speaks French ask me a question, I can simply send im to all on group who are online to see who speaks French and has time to help. would have same overall effect as forums except better chance of getting immediate help and making customer service that much better.

I went ahead and made a group, its free for all to ion, and I want to make no money off it (in fact ill end up paying more for help then most people)

I figure some people will join to help or meet new people, and others will join to make some cash when translating, im open for both types to join.

you can search for it and join for free or ask me in SL, Danielz Shackle is my av name, and I will send you invite.

as I mentioned before, you can join if you simply like to help translate or meet new people and would help for free, or you can join to make money translating for those willing to pay

I'd be willing to help you free of charge when I have time. I can translate the french to english.

There is also available, and Automated Translator. It can convert several languages, but you have to set it for the languages spoken. Contact me In Game, and i will Find my Copy to show you (And hopefully the place where you can Buy it).

Look in search for 'Phreak Isle' and theres a free translator on the 'phlamingo' island on the sim

thanks, but i want real people translating as most of the auto ones cant get the meaning right. they translate words not ideas. i want a group where people will either help for free, or to make a little extra money elping oters translate with people .sorry if my first message was mispoken ;)
