Offer Teleport greyed out

I'm guessing this is a bug with the last update, since Offer Teleport still works on the friends list, just want to check if other people are seeing this too. When I look at someone's profile the Offer Teleport button is greyed out, so lately I've just been telling people what sim I'm in so they can find me.

I had this problem with a recent First Look viewer version. I upgraded to the latest one and the problem is gone. No more clues.

In an attempt to lower the database load, Linden Labs has removed the feature that allows you to see who is online when using search. The online status will no longer appear next to a person's name in search. I believe it will still show someone as online or not if you check their profile. When Linden Labs made this change, they introduced a new bug that does not allow you to teleport anyone that is not on your friends list through their profile. This issue is scheduled to be fixed after a progam update from 1.13.3(2) to 1.14.0 in the near future.

Yea it was another one of those quick thinking changes that mess things up. Their really good at that stuff.

Excuse me, but thank you thank you thank you thank you for posting that the new First Look has this fixed. I am constantly teleporting people from IM/Profile/TP and this was driving me absolutely crazy.

Um, friends profile have them greyed too. Have to TP from Friends List instead.

LOL I have started just creating and sending a LM to people i need to tp to me, of course this creates lots of LMs in my inventory which leads to Dtabase laod which leads to Lindens changing how LMs are stored which leads to TPs not working

I hope they change it back, and here's why. I work at a club and people ask to be TP'd. Well, I can't click on their profile and TP them.. so I send them a LM... but that hasn't been working much either. However, people that I have on my friends list I can click TP and it TPs them right in, but those that aren't on my friends list are SOL because the LMs don't work. So, either I have to add all these people to my friends list, or tell them oh too bad you can't come to the club because LMs don't work. Not very good for business.

Although I definitely want this fixed, I must admit it's kinda fun directing people to me via IM. It's like a great big game of hide and seek! Just a couple hours ago I directed a customer to Gnoma and then told him which way to head; because I could see him in the distance, I was tempted to start IMing "warmer... warmer... colder..."

I am finding it most annoying that I can no longer see who is online. Why should I have to clutter my friends list up?

I just use slurls now.
