Okay, I just bought a skin and shape, but I can't apply either of them! I keep crashing, but when ever I log on, and it doesnt apply, I try to relog & such, but it never works! What should I do?

Is it crashing when you try to apply the skin/shape or just crashing for no rhyme or reason? Also, do clothing and other changes 'stick'?
