Seriously, Xcite users, does this do anything for you? What's the point?

There's a british radio comedy at the moment which includes an Indian guy ringing in who always asks some incredibly deep question and finishes off with a depressive "...what is point?" and an echoing silence.

What I want to know is, who assembled the list of xcite "responses", and what mix of epilepsy and tourette's leads to havy breathing AND muscles bunching early in arousal? in my experience, when I start heavy breathing I am more likely to flop like a wet dishrag than "bunch muscles" - GIRLS bunch muscles more than men do...

Xcite kind of is what it is; it rewards exhibitionistic play (you may note that there's no way to direct the narrative/spam into the IM channel, on the part of the source or the destination), and it has very simple ideas about what constitutes a response. It also just works a lot better than the alternatives, for those of us disinclined to spend four hours on a 3d adjuster stand shunting wobbly bits around, or another four hours debugging busted scripts (step forward, Strokerz willies. Never could get them to work worth a damn)...

The sense I get from wandering about being bad is, a hell of a lot of people want to transgress the current limits of the system - how hot would it be to find that your parts are running someone else's set of narrative/actions, for example - but that this is already an ossified and uncompetitive market.
