Looking for a backup site for the main house because of a possible campsite forming in the sim, so we want to place a house on land in an adjoining sim that's reasonably nice looking in a traditional sense (she hates moderns with a passion). Looking for someting with about a 20 x 20 footprint with a large interior space (or modible enough so indoor walls can be knocked out). We have the land already, just need a pretty box.

I would check the classifieds forum, or search "houses" in world. There's no substitute for shopping around, and people just recommend their friends typically.

Search "Places" for the following

Home Sweet Homes
Houses that Jack Built
Hoffman Designs

Ace also builds homes - very nice ones - but possibly might be too "modern" for the lady.. check it out anyway (Ace's Spaces)..

These are just a few of my favorites.. there are many more who deserve your consideration, so just search "All" for the word "prefab" and do some shopping.. you'll find there is plenty of product to choose from out there.

Thanks ace, already did the classified and places search but its spamzilla in there - so right now I'm just trying to get a short list of who'se pretty decent and popular and established in the building business so I know we're getting a quality build from a reputable builder - like the list that Zaphod just put up. Thanks heaps! :-) Oh, and Warda's treehouse sounds interesting but its not what she's looking for, just something traditional and well-built.

Hey Ace

I saw a house in world the other day and checked the creator and ended up touring your store. You have some very cool designs. :D

Try APHEX Designs in Miniard (85-24-40). Very classy designs (might look modern to GF but try anyway). They generally build for 1024 but you don't say whether you want surplus leftover for a garden or are happy to fill up the whole plot. Anyway best of luck.

Shonas are the ultimate cool houses. The creator is ArchTX Edo, and is a superb designer. His houses are on the Shona region.

I will throw my hat into this ring as well. I have a few designs :-)(about a year and a half of them), and boxed houses of varying sizes and prim count. I also custom build. My prices are more than resonable and quality is high.

Another Ace fan :) Great homes...low prim but high on detail. I have not changed my house again since getting my Ace house. Though I have accidently deleted it a few times ;)

Hell I'll build you a custom home, with traditional references if you want. I work cheap is the project is interesting.

Creative Fantasy Homes & Gardens

Not a friend of mine, but raises the bar with respect to old-fashioned, country style homes.

Look for Blue Lace Cottage, at 23, 176, 23 in Serenity Falls.

Also, another thumbs up to Ace for not pushing her own products in her post....

Yet another shameless plug for my alt who displays a classic brick home for L$199 on Explorers Rangeland at around 240,110. Even has opening and closing windows!

And another shameless plug: I have a range of treehouses specifically designed to fit a 32X32 1024 plot. You can buy them in my stores at Serenity Woods, Sprawler or at the Luskwood General Market. I also do a freebie treehouse designed for the late lamented 16X32 'First Land' plots.
