SNAPZILLA is fun to browse through to get ideas of where to explore.
If you send photos there you can also have the little mini snapshot display on your website or as a signature in forums. _____________________

If you use Photoshop, you can take the pictures of the people against a blank background (use a couple of 10m square prims) then using the 'magic wand' tool (with antialias off) remove the blank background - and just overlay what's left (the cut out people) on top of a real photo of your choice.
I've done it a few times, and you can get some quite interesting effects if you use lighting in SL combined with a photographic background that includes similar. If the above doesn't make sense, let me know in-game and I'll show you what I mean. Lewis _____________________

Well.... for outside pictures, watch the tutorial of Torley (pointed at before). There are some awesome good hints and suggestion in it.
For inside photo's I use an photo-studio which is placed in my house (www.never30.com for more info on the studio). I love to work in this way with models. I have small collections of pictures I made an Flickr-page (see my ingame-profile). As for Photoshop (and programs alike), I have seen people doing wonderful things with it. But for me t is the kick to get most out of what SL offers me and not to use editing programs afterwards. But that is just me ![]() Morwen. |

If you look up my picks in-game (as Search is still poorly) you will find a link to my Photo Studio in Kitzbuhel.
Here you can pose yourself or whoever against a changeable backdrop - lots and lots of scenes and designs to choose there. Oh,and it is totally free to use. I will soon be opening a new, bigger, more sophisticated version in Tupi. It will still be free, I might add. |
