making money

I'm trying to make money with the least amount of work possible (lazy, I know). Does anybody know some good camping chairs and a good anti idle orb?

I know a perfect way... to make easy money... you can be very lazy for it... and the amounts of money can be awesome!!!

That or get a job in SL. As already said, most here don't support the kind of behaviour you mentioned.

Yesterday I was warned by a good friend of mine that she saw a half naked woman in my house. The logging device had her name already.

So I PMed her what that was about and I got this as reply (I removed the name):

[4:54] ***: sorry my little brother was visting and he maybe went on the computer sorry about that again

May I be angry? And may I doubt it was her "little brother"?

But IF it was her little brother (and I think one can assume "little brother" is younger as 1, I think it extreme inresponcible to let him play SL and enter a mature area. That thought even makes me more angry.

You don't need an anti-idle orb Just turn the 'Away' function off. Go Ctrl-Alt-D, Client and Server will appear as a drop down menu. In the 'Client' drop down menu choose 'Character', under Character choose 'Character Tests', under Character Tests you will see that 'Go Away/AFK when Idle' has an X beside it. Click it so the X goes away. You may need to do this every time you log on.

There are also Money Trees specifically designed for newbies. The Master Money Tree Directory is at Bravo Bravo, Garmisch (47, 209, 167) - don't know how to link it, sorry. But to be honest you don't really need to spend money in SL - there's so much free stuff! You only really need money if your going to upload textures/take snapshots.

Turn your computer off when you're not using it instead of leaving it on for camping overnight. Figure out how much electricity you save over a month and buy L$ for that amount.

Not only did you conserve power, but you made SL a - granted, unmeasurably little - less laggier by not consuming resources other - active - residents could be using instead.

Alternatively, drinking one less soda, buying one less sandwich, smoking one less pack of cigarettes, eating one less bag of cookies or whatever "luxury" item you allow yourself in RL would buy you more L$ than camping will ever get you over a week's time.

Lastly, actively participating in world by entering contests, joining a sploder or just being somewhere at the right time will also end you up with more L$ than camping would and you'll actually have fun participating.

Sorry if all of the above sounds condescending but if SL isn't worth a few $ to you then maybe you don't really need whatever it is you're wanting to buy. Moreover I did try the whole camping experience with my alt. Four hours of camping a day did result in L$48 to L$96 depending on where I went but that doesn't take the wasted hours trying to find a free camping chair in the first place into account.
The week after I roamed the GNUbie store along with freebies designer stores hand out. I won L$250 at a best in red (Yadni freebie dress), $400 in a best tattoo (freebie from a tattoo store) and $1052 from a lucky sploder entry in not only a whole lot less time than I spent hunting for free chairs in the previous week, but I actually had a whole lot of fun too.

And I'm done ranting now *puts soapbox away*
