Hey Forum People!

I need to attach a picture to a notecard. The pictures I uploaded to sl show up as textures and I don't see a way to attach them. In other notecards I've seen with pictures, the icon shown is not for a texture. So here's the questions:

1. Can you attach a texture to a notecard?

2. Can you change a texture into a picture to attach to a notecard?

Thanks, Lori

Textures and "pictures" are really just all textures, they just turn up with different icons if you take a snapshot in-world and save it to inventory. And yes, you can put either in - just drag them from inventory into the notecard. You can put landmarks etc in too.

Not as far as I know. As far as I can tell, they seem to be treated the exactly the same except for showing a different icon.

Not Working

OK, I'm trying to drag the texture from inventory to the notecard. The icon over the notecard is a black circle with a line through it (not good for what I want to do). It won't let me drag and drop into the card.

Have I done something wrong?

Maybe the texture is no copy?

The Quest Completed

Thanks, I figured it out. I needed to go to the picture and open the Properties. Then I needed to check the boxes under "Next Owner Can" and give them modify and copy permission. THEN I could attach it to the notecard.

Thanks all!
