I just bought a piece of land on my sl aunties sim..
i have set it to my group and done all the same things i usually do so that my partner can set it as home, but it wont let him set it..
my aunt tried and she couldnt do it either, they werent even able to save an lm... all though it is set for lms to be saved.
wondering is SL was playing up, i went to my friends land to see if i could set home there... I could..
so i went back home again and tried to set home on my aunts land, which is in the same sim as mine.
It wouldnt work..
we keep gtting the message about not being able to set home on land that u dont own.
anyway, i looked at the map, to my surprise, according to the map, my home was set on my aunts land.
my aunt and partner looked too
theyre homes were set to MY land... yet if we tp to our home destination, i land on my land, my aunt lands on her land and my partner alnds on our last piece of land we lived on.
the sim has been restarted 3 times adn we still have the same problems.
has anyone else been having these problems, or know what it is or how to solve it.
all the settings are right in the group and on about land..
any help appreciated

As you're living on convenant land you might ask your landlord to contact the concierge to find out what the problem is with setting home locations on her sim.

Try deeding but my partner was able to set home on our last piece of land, that was set to a group and not deeded, why would this pne be different? |

Several months ago, LL intentionally changed the behavior for setting a home point. Now, you can only do it on the mainland or on group-DEEDED private island land, in which you are in a group role that allows setting Home there. LL has stated this was an intentional change, and that they will not change it back so that merely setting land to Group will permit seting home there for anyone other than the parcel owner.

its ok.. its all sorted now.. you were right, i needed to deed the land.. the reason it worked at the last place was because we rented it before buying it and he had it set as home from when we were renting... thanx for your hlep everyone  |
