hi
a while ago, a photographer freind o fmine ahd a ball that u could jump on and they coucld scroll through the loads of modelling poses on it to take pictures, the ball disappears when u jump on it... itys like a modleling stand, but better... well my question is, does anyone know where i can buy this item?
i am no longer friends with this person so i can't ask them and i desperately need to get one of these balls...
any help is appreciated
thankyou

Sara, I've seen one of these. IM darmok Halley as it was his club that was using it. edit: um, on second thoughts, ask him who his photographer is cos I think she might have had a closer resemblance to what you describe.

Or search (if search works) for pose-pads.
I have a very nice myself, where you can add pose yourself. I will send you tonight a PM were to buy that pose-pad and a where to buy great, but cheap poses.

I think Natalia's blog might talk about something similar (not sure if it was a HUD rather than a poseball) http://slnatalia.blogspot.com/index.html from back when she was doing Miss SL. Alternatively, search on SL Exchange.

bought one of those once. Didnt open it for awhile for some reason or another. When I finally did I found an empty box. Sent the manufacturer a memo, but they never responded. Recall it wasnt cheap. Actually think it came with a camera and tripod and such gadgetry. Well, SUPPOSED to anyway. Hope you have better luck.

I use a 'Ani-Tab' HUD, it works really well and you buy it as part of a duo-set (Dance-Tab) for about 300L$, you can just click a button and change your installed poses, un/hide the HUD, sequence the animations/poses to an adjustable timer, and click 'Stop all animations', works the same for dances as well using the Dance-Tab unit.

Can't you just set the pose stand to go invisible when stood on? Or make it offset you far enough that the pose stand doesn't show up in the picture.

I think I know what this thread is about - my sl "daughter" uses it for CGI work. she is very "into" graphics work. I bought it for her (3000 lindens I think) and it is a series of poses for modelling and high density/high detail work. If I can find her (she is a vampire) I shall ask her and then post a thread. It is NOT a toy/or dance ball but a complex stand for SL artists.
