Not all ads within classifieds are being listed though. I have 3 ads running and if I search against the keywords I use they are not showing, and neither are those of some of my competitors. Im talking about ads for 20K and above here, not checked ads lower down. Howver if I search classifieds for my business name the ads appears so the classified are still listed but the search facility is definitetly buggered still.

Just worked out what the problem is. I searched for 'prefab' and didnt see my listing. The word 'prefab' was included in the keywords within the description but not in the main title of my classified. Add the word 'prefab' to the main title of my classidied and it instantly shows up. So search is only listing ads from the classified titles rather than words within the description.
Can someone bug report this as I need to go out right now.

Yeah, it appears the search is not searching within the body of the ad, only the title.

well. actually search IS NOT back. 10% of search is back: only title search...
better than nothing? indeed.
enough? sure it's not.
will we get a refund for ads? I'd like, but really dont' believe it.

I was on two different sims last night. At one, neither search nor profiles worked at all. You'd be lucky to get a name showing in a profile, but that's all you might get, even on your own. Transferring inventory by dropping on an avatar worked (I think) but not by dropping into a profile.
At the other, all the database stuff seemed to work fine. I was on this both immediately before and after the other one, so it's not just my timing being lucky. On the other hand, for some reason there was an interesting glitch in the display, causing avatars to sometimes become invisible to everyone except themselves, or to seem to be in two different locations. It seemed to be related to certain pose balls, but it's not clear if this was a real SL bug or some obscure scripting or animation propblem.

From: Ee Maculate In case you hadn't noticed...... It's not until the blob post "Search is Temporarily Down" is updated and states clearly that Search is now working again. Plus, this goes beyond just Search working incorrectly. As it's been nearly 20-hours since the last update to the blob it might be time for a Linden to let us know the current status of the ongoing work. |

search seems to work now for the whole classified, not only title. but not always, and not all classified are taken in account.
A search wich returned 100 classified monday only returns 45/50 now
