Land owned by different groups within same sim

Hi,

I am the group owner of a group that owns 3 plots of land within one sim. This allows me to combine the prims for all three plots for my use.

If I transfer ownership of one of the plots to another group that I am also the owner of, will I still be able to combine the prims for my use (because I own both groups), or will they be forced to be separate from the other two plots?

I am going to rent out one of the plots, and I'd like to put the tenants into a separate group so that it is easier to keep track of their prim use, permissions, etc.

If the parcels are deeded to the group, then no. And you would want them to be deeded, so group roles all work.

Make a different group role in the existing group, and see if that will meet your needs. Like a "Renters" group. I did something similar for my home parcel. I made a "Residents" group for people who were actually allowed to set their home point on that land.

If the parcels are deeded to different groups, even if you own both groups, their prim count scan't combine.
