I'm having a problem when I place order to sell my lindens. It's saying I have a daily limit of 0. I thought this was because I was a basic account holder and maybe some rule was passed so I upgraded and am still getting the same message. I asked a few friends and they're having the same problem. Anyone know how to solve this?

From the looks of it, they changed their policy without telling anyone. You have to BUY Lindens in order to sell them, because the trading limit is dependent on your billing date? (Yeah, makes no sense to me either)
My recommendation is to open a support ticket and see if you can get an answer via that.

From what I've seen, people are having a hard time getting a straight answer about trading limits from Support. I'd suggest opening a ticket in case they can help you, and buying a couple dollars worth of Lindens to establish your 'Bill Date' in the meantime. You don't want to wait a week for them to (maybe) give you an answer, only to find out that you still have to wait another 14 days before you can sell.

From the Lindex Billing and Trading Limits page: From: someone "Days" in the New Resident limits description refers to days since first billing transaction with Linden Lab. Yes it changed, and no they didn't tell anyone. It seems they didn't even tell many of their Support staff. What it boils down to: You MUST be "Payment Info Used". The "days" timer does not start until the first time you actually pay money directly to LL -- such as when you upgraded to a Premium account. The other part of this problem is that many people are having trouble actually submitting payment to LL. You should verify that LL actually received your Premium payment (it should reflect in your account history and current balance). I believe the clock starts ticking once a payment has been received. And just to make it even more of a pain, I see that the SELL limit stays at $0 for 14 days! So... (1) Verify that LL actually received your payment. (2) Mark your calendar for 14 days from the date of that payment, because that's when you'll be able to sell.

My best suggestion is to go to SLExchange and sell L from there. They are a lot better in most respects than using the LindeX and you don't run the risk of an exchange rate fee from them if you use a CC.

Several people have said that buying Lindens via the Lindex worked for them, so upgrading shouldn't be necessary.

From: Ann Launay Several people have said that buying Lindens via the Lindex worked for them, so upgrading shouldn't be necessary. I was going to suggest buying lindens, but then I noticed she said she had already upgraded. Hopefully the problem now is just the 14-day waiting period. From: Raudf Fox My best suggestion is to go to SLExchange and sell L from there. They are a lot better in most respects than using the LindeX and you don't run the risk of an exchange rate fee from them if you use a CC. I keep telling people that, but I was starting to worry that I sounded like an advertisement. But I absolutely agree, dealing with SL Exchange is SO much easier than trying to wade through LL support. And I believe their $L exchange rates are also relatively attractive, although I haven't checked recently.
