I really need help. I go brain dead every time I try to figure this one out.
I gave my group 6368sq of land to my group
I just bought another 2048sq. I want to donate another 1024sq, but it tells me I don't have enough land credits. Believe me I have searched and tried to figure this one out and I can't.
My tier right now is $40.00 a month.
Now I have a Partner in the group and he wants to donate 1024sq. If he does, will that increase our monthly tier?
I really hope you can shed some light

Justin Slade I had that happen me too not sure why but what I did is go into land edit options and change land group setting, make sure land is deeded checked, owner makes contibutions is checked then click deed button. This will turn property to group. I haven't figured out how to buy for group so sorry. But friend mentioned I should in group land settings check your numbers of land you have deeded to group and see if its there. It its not put correct number there. Not sure if you can deed the whole number though of your available land through group land settings via your group.

So you're paying US$ 40, which gives you 8704 m² (8192+512) land use allowance. You donated to the group 6368 m² which caves out 5789 m² from this (6368/1.1). You should still have 2915 m² free. You bought another 2048 m² (owned by you), which leaves you just 867 m² to own in your current tier. In your case I would donate the full 2915 m² allowance you have left to the group. This would allow the group to hold 3206 m² (because of the 10% bonus). If you deed the 2048 m² parcel along with the donation, you then still have 1158 m² free in the group, which is more than enough to acquire the 1024 m² plot for the group. But you must use "Buy for Group" in this case, not the normal "Buy" option. So ... problem solved!

Thanks Ed and Ricky.
I'll try the click on group and contribution to see if that will work. Unfortunately the land has been bought. The only thing I probably could do is sell to my partner and he sell his to me and we click by for group.
Now my head don't hurt so much.. Thanks again Justin

Now my head don't hurt so much.. Thanks again Justin If you own some land and you would like to convert that to group ownership, all you have to do is to "Deed" the land to the group. You may do so from the first tab of the "About Land" dialogue box. That's much faster, easier and safer that all this back-and-forth selling. Nowaday setting up land for sale is a bit risky, because you just have to make one small mistake, and ... "poof your land is gone"

I knew that Ricky, I was just going on what you said about "make sure you buy it for the group".
My problem was it wasn't letting me deed it to the group. It said need more land credit.
Thanks Justin
