Missing Items

Hi everyone,

Earlier today I decided to re-build my store, so I returned everything to my
inventory. But now there is lots of stuff missing including a slot machine that
cost me 2000L$.

Where is my stuff? and will I get it back?

The problem with auto-returning a large number of objects at the same time is that the system will often package them up, so what appears to be one prim is actually a collection of prims.

So, a returned item may be titled "chair" but if you rezz it you will find it's actually a prim holding a chair, a sofa, your hot tub, a few plants, and a building all together.

The only way to see if you've really lost inventory, is to rezz every... single...damn...prim... that was returned and look in the contents folder.

Yes, this is the "Coalesce " bug. I always take things into my inventory one at a time to avoid this...though for large stores, etc., I can see what a PITA that would be.

Its not the first time this has happend to me and to be honest I might just
quit SL as i'm sick of this shite. I've lost 1000's cos of this and with over
4000 items in my inventory how am I suppose to find the stuff.

It's not a bug, it's a 'feature.' lol

Don't despair. Use the filter.

Go to Inventory, Recent Items, then Create New Filter, Click on None to clear all the check boxes, then click on Objects to select just that one, at the bottom of the Filter box you will see hour and days thumbwheels, use these to find your stuff.
