Can someone explain why 92L just went from my balance, without any request for it, and with no transaction showing in my history?
This seems a trifle worrying, but as I have no idea if it's been stolen or Lindened, I can't file an AR (no AV name mentioned as taking it).
This is the first time this has happened to me, but it's not making me feel secure about keeping any money in world if it can vanish that easily...

Does your in-world balance agree with your Dashboard balance? Keep checking transactions and perhaps go back a few days to see if it is a system charge for listungs or groups.

The two tally now, although it took a few minutes for the dashboard to catch up. There's still nothing to justify it, just a drop in L.
If it was a system charge for a group (already paid that when creating a new group this week) or setting my land in search, surely it wouldn't be such an odd (OK, even!) figure? $92 just seems random, and I was fairly sure it was $30 weekly to list the parcel, even if it was paid on a three week cycle.
If it *is* a Linden charge, then it would be nice if there was a mention of it in the transactions, not just a "woosh" and there it was, gone situation.

The odd number could be accounted for in group charges. They are split between all members who are set to pay, and all members are set to pay by default.
Look at your Transaction History. The balance won't change without a listed reason. That can be found from your account page - left column > Account > Transaction History

About not changing without a listed reason...?
Those were the last two transactions at the time this happened, and as you can see, the balance nosedived but no reason was given!
Oddly, the dashboard is now reporting the money is back, although in world it isn't showing.
I'm not sure what you mean by group charges being split - I paid the 100L to create a new group earlier this week (or end of last, I forget now), and I wasn't aware there were ongoing charges - Certainly there weren't with the previous group I created.
I'm waiting to be charged for listing the parcel in search, but 30$ does not equate to 92!

And after a relog, the money is back. I guess maybe it was a server glitch taking from the wrong AV, or some other issue with the frayed strings and drying bluetack that holds the grid together.

You replaced stuff with **** ? Why not paste the actual details? Do you recognise either of them?
ETA: It's strange. I don't know of any normal circumstances where money goes and then comes back.

From: Phil Deakins You replaced stuff with **** ? Why not paste the actual details? Do you recognise either of them? I figured naming the region, and member (you could get one easily from the other) might be a bit naughty if there's nothing dodgy going on, that was all! From: someone ETA: It's strange. I don't know of any normal circumstances where money goes and then comes back. It's back, and still without reason for it leaving in the first place. It makes no sense to me, I can't see how it could be purloined without leaving a trace, so I'm guessing it was a tech glitch somehow. I'm not sure if I prefer the "LL messed up" theory to the "someone tried to pick my pockets" one, but it's back. I know it's not a large sum, but it's the security and principle that scares me more than being down about 40p...
