Requesting Trading Limits increases - Any luck?

I have been requesting a trading limit increase for months. Even though the Web Site states that Linden Labs will get back to you within 5 business days, I have not gotten a reply to my requests. EVER! I opened a support ticket on this issue one week ago. Still no response.
The lack of support makes me hesitant to spend more money in the game.
Anyone else had luck gettign a trading limit increase?

I was going to post this very same issue after doing a quick search. I have made 2 requests in the last 3 weeks. NO answer whatsoever. Even a big fat no would allow me to figure other things out.
Not sure which planet SL comes from where they don't feel customer service is crucial to keeping buying customers happy.
I have been a member for almost 2 years and am disappointed that a review is even necessary considering how much I have purchased in this game.

I had to wait for a long time too. I send 2 requests as i started in sl.I think you ll need to wait your time showed for trading limits to purchase what you want. May you ll try a livechat by support to change the settings. But the ticket submitting and responses will not help you for it. i am sure. Good luck!

WHEW!!!! I thought it was just me! I thought maybe I needed a shower and that LL was just avoiding me.
Yes, I agree. I would like to get an answer yes OR no. I have said this in my requests each time. The first year I was with SL the customer service was good. This last year GROWING PAINS! I know it has to be hard to grow so fast, so quickly. But, it is time to fix the problem and not to bandaid it again.

I have waited 3 months ... 4 requests ... one support ticket.
I am tired of waiting. I guess my only other option is to attempt a phone call.

TONS of people are waiting. I dont know how I got lucky but they upgraded me in about a month I think it was.

It took me about 2 months to get my increase, and I pestered them every week. Kinda funny, they are now replying two months later to all my emails I guess, I get messages from them about this issue, once a week.

wut is yours set at, and wut do you want it to be? maybe i can help. they explained how it works to me.. and there is a thread somewhere here, where someone posted the TOS about it too.

I have been sending requests since late February and have made numerous phone calls. When I get through on the phone they tell me I have to wait for a repsonse to the famous 5 business days repsonse time the requests form says you get. When I complain that I have been waiting months they tell me there is a big waiting list but virtually no one can get an upgrade or even a response to a request for one. I don't know what the problem really is but the guys on the phone support are either lying or don't know. The people responsible for granting the upgrades are extremely unresponsive.

There has been a long-standing problem with airline "frequent flyer miles" piling up on the airline books as a corporate liability with some exceeding a billion US$. Since the programs started, the airlines have had to try many things to limit their liability - most importantly expiration of those miles. (c.f. http://www.reuters.com/article/topNews/idUSMOL35051020070513?feedType=RSS&sp=true) Every L$ in all SL wallets represents a liability to LL: a cost that they'd have to pay if the L$ owners wanted to cash out. A player requesting a large payout is no longer a potential liability but a real one. Following the old business maxim of "speed up cash coming in, slow down cash out" could easily explain why account limit increases are not a priority for LL. I suspect (without knowing the total L$ supply) that paying out some fraction of the L$ in game could hurt LL's books severely.

if you are 0-1 days, it's probably because you haven't used your credit card to purchase $1US worth of Lindens.
if you do THAT, it will begin to go up.
