Wanna see some HUGE maga prims?

Currently there are one or more HUGE megaprims in/on/over Varano and neighboring sims. When I edit it I can't get the owner or creator. Any help on how I ca see about getting rid of these? I flew from the ground up to 1200+ and it was still going.

We finally got the owner. He is horrified. Now for the clean-up

I see that a lot. People rez these things, but can't see them because they are embedded so deep inside. As far as they can tell, it's just one of those times you try to rez something, but it doesn't happen.

And the way the MEGA mega prims behave is SO bizarre and unpredictable. Just a few weeks ago I helped a fellow forumite with one, where the only symptoms were the grey mass on the mini-map and strange lines in the sky. Others I've seen are more obvious, like when they make all the avs in the sim fall upward into the air.

So it's always a good idea to start by politely contacting the owner. If you have trouble figuring out who the owner is, please give me an IM telling me where the item is (region and coordinates). I'm very good at getting the info, and instructing the owners on how to delete them.

Thanks so much Ava. The owner wasn't too sure how to get rid of it. He was more then 2 sims away from us and told us to jsut delete it, which, of course, we couldn't do. He tried to get rid of it I guess but eventyually it went to his lost and found. I have never seen anything like this monster! I flew up to over 1400m and it was still going, and I had draw distance cranked to 500+! I came back down and took some picks




I am the tiny dark smear in the middle of each photo. Yowser.

Well, it seems to be. It all disapeared and all the strange things that were happening seem to have cleared up.

I was a bit worried at first that there were a few of them bc/ initially it was over my head and extended in both directions. He either deleted that one or slid it over to form the wall in the picture because that part went away before we figured out the owner. If there was more than one though and it was turned transparent I don't know if I could tell if it was there or not.

My minimap kept flashing from normal colors to the reddish pink it does when a region fails while the prim was there and visible and now it has stopped doing that, so I think it is gone.
