Hello, there is a stupid git who is continually returning to my plot of land no matter how many times I kick him out, and I cannot ban him as I don't own the place, I only rent. The owner isn't online, so I can't ask him to ban him from the land right now. So I want to cage him. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to use my free cager... any suggestions? I wear it on my arm, and then what?

Make sure the chat bar is closed, press the M button on your keyboard, aim with the white crosshairs, and fire using the left click button on mouse. HOWEVER! lol, I would advise against doing this to this person. They may report you and get you banned. File an abuse report on this person, and send the owner of the land an IM stating your problem. I'm sure the land owner will ban them eventually. You don't want to get banned do you? Cages are not permanent either, they can sit on the cage to escape or teleport away and come back. Sorry someone is harassing you.

I fail to see how they can accept and validate an AR from a disposable griefer alt, perhaps unverified shouldn't be able to submit AR's?

For all we know, this person he wants to cage is just annoying him and not intending to grief. If they cage them, and the cagee sends a report, the owner of the land may eject him or LL put out a warning or ban. They can see what has happened on a sim and check chat logs. I think unverifieds not being able to send abuse reports would discriminate against people who rent or cannot become verified.

So I guess then what's to stop someone creating 10 new unverified alts and sending AR's from them all saying you caged & orbited them. LL may look into it further if you are a longer term residen, but if you've only been here a month you are probably just going to get banned. Either way you will be out of action till you can prove yourself, waiting for the questioning of the griefers alts who will never respond.
