Does BBCode work? Here's their help page for it:

Does that linked page stil apply? Is that info for the old xstreet-slexchange forum or for the new jive-powered commerce forum?

Was the OP asking about html in a forum or in a product listing?

I'm not a seller, so I can't check to be sure. Doesn't hurt to try, though.

Just checked the wiki / knowledge base page about selling stuff on Xstreet (authored by Torley). In the item field explanations, it says this:
From: someone
Description - Write a description for your item. You can use BBcode to style it — look at other merchants whose listings you admire for inspiration.

I don't believe that function would be allowed. Otherwise every XStreet listing would be an endless page of product pictures. What I'd suggest as an alternative is to create a "contact" sheet showing your other products in thumbnails and upload that as one of your image options for the product. Make sure you put the name of the product under the picture so that an interested customer knows what to search for.

I see that a lot, though. Let me see if I can find an example.

That was fast, got it on my first try. This one has eight separate images in the description.

You can imbed an image in item description with [img]BBcode with an html link to the image.

Edit: I use it simply to display my logo at the top of the description window, no abuse here. :^)

Damn, you're right. Interesting. That's one way around the failure of XStreet to allow people to create their own "stores" like you can with Ebay.

I'm actually surprised they allow this. Way open to abuse...
