I'm sure there's probably a simple solution to this, but I haven't found it yet. I recently bought land, and I've been going through my inventory, rezzing items on my land to see if they're of any use to me. One item I had in my inventory is called "Alien Cloud." When I rezzed this item, it began spewing purple smoke, not something I really care to have in my front yard. The problem is, I cannot find the prim to delete it. I even went into wireframe mode, and I still cannot get to it. How do I get rid of this item? The only thing I can think of offhand is to have all the prims returned to my inventory, but I have spent times setting certain things up on my land, and I would prefer not to have to do that work again. So . . . any suggestions? I would appreciate them

Did you try View>Highlight Transparent? Or Ctrl-Alt-T does the same thing, which is to make all transparent items red.

Click on your land and select " About land " ... go to the objects tabb and click on refresh from server ..it will now show you how many prims you have on the land next to your name . Now just up from that it has a button named " Show " ... click that and it will highlight all your objects in white ...... scan arond looking for the offencive prim ... click and delete

Thanks, guys. I did as you suggested, Fly, but whenever I attempt to right click the prim (even when zoomed in), I select the land. This is very, very frustrating :/ I really wish there were a way to delete a prim by name. EDIT: I just tried a combination of what you two suggested, and success! Thank you both very much This was driving me crazy.

click the build button on the bottom of your screen.
drag a box around the suspected area and the prim(nmost likely small) holding the script should highlight
zoom in to the prim and delete it

Or better yet, to select/highlight an item by name. I have wished for that so very many times.
