It logs me out everytime I try to teleport. Help!

Each time I try to teleport I get logged out.
Why? I've cleared my cache, and its still doing it.

Any ideas?

Welll I was gonna suggest clearing cache.... one day I decided to clean my invy... I had 22k of junk in my invy and I cleaned it down to 10k! YAY After that I couldn't tp anywhere without logging out and I cleaned my cache and that fixed it.

So my next suggestion is take off as many attachments as you can.. huds, ao's, jewelry, shoes.. never hair and see if that helps?

Are you teleporting from an island? Can you send and recieve IM's from people off the island?

I can send IMs. I've been told I'm lagged? What does that mean?

The island needs to be rebooted. Send a note via the "sim down" page on the SL site or have the island owner call concierge. Or the island owner could reboot it themselves of course.

My friend has the same issue - crashes every time he teleports. Clearing cache does nothing for him. We haven't figured out what the issue is yet but it does seem to be connected to high concurrency online (e.g. over 32,000). I'll post here if we figure it out.

A friend suggested that I change my preferences to log in at my home. I tried it and it worked!

I'm not sure if this will work for everyone, but it worked for me..
