No you will not loose your inventory or money. That is stored on remote servers hun.

Try adjusting your interface settings in your preferences so you can see everything. Sounds like they are set too big.

your inventory and money is not on your personal computer its on the Linden Labs computers - You can uninstall and reinstall as much as you liek and wont lose any,

Nope! You wont lose a thing! Your Inventory & everything else is stored on Linden Labs Servers.

The only thing installed on your computer is the Client which connects to the Servers.

All of your stuff is saved on the SL servers, so you won't lose anything in your account by re-installing. Also you can log in from any computer that has SL installed and have access to everything in your account.

Re-installing won't fix your problem though. It sounds like you're running in low-resolution and the bottom of the dialog box is being clipped. Make sure you're running the program full-screen (maximize the window), and if necessary, increase the screen resolution on your computer.

I have run SL in 800x600 mode before and some dialogs do not fit vertically on the screen.

Me too! I do that sometimes when there is some kind of meeting say at Linden Village and there are a million people there. It helps to reduce lag and load everything faster for me. Unfortunately I cannot adjust the size of the profile or search window when using this resolution. Do you guys know how to change the dialog box size without changing the resolution? Thanks. :D

Changed the res....and it worked....now it's a little too tiny for my liking.....I need to fix that sometime.....anyhow.....now I have to figure out and tackle how to make clothing for SL....I need a clothing for Dummies in SL book ha! I was using PSP 9 which I still have and now I am trying to learn GIMP.....and it's hard....I get frustrated and get stuck and get headaches.....dratz....maybe I'm not cut out to be a graphics geek and have my own clothing shop in SL after all....I guess my main interest in making or wanting to make clothes is so I can dawn clothes I made myself so I can save SL money for bigger and better things....instead of buying clothes all the time if I get the hang of the seamstress thing....I'll be wearing more of my creations.....and have more clothes in my inventory without purchasing them....

The only real fix for the resolution problem is a larger monitor. Unlike web browsers, where I frequently tweak text size on a per web site basis, there's no way in SL to make some parts work with a different scale than others. They ought to add scroll bars, but it doesn't seem like a high demand feature.
